| [**05:48:11 PM**] V: weather v: warm high pressure will settle across the area this weekend. Shorts weather is back, as highs both Saturday and Sunday climb well into the mid and upper 80's. Humidity will also gradually creep up this weekend, but remain tolerable. Lows over the weekend will be around 60. Evening temperatures will be in the 70's. It's looking dry, as our next best chance for rain won't return until Monday. Poor air quality will also be of concern with the increasing warmth and stagnant air. The first SMOG alert of 2012 has been issued for both Saturday and Sunday. Those with breathing ailments should limit the amount of time spent outdoors and try and remain in air conditioning. The general public has nothing to worry about. This evening looks very nice as we slowly slip through the 70's into the 60's by 10pm to a low around 57 by Saturday morning. |

[**06:09:30 PM**] V: gr: don't breathe too deeply the first SMOG alert of the year just issued for this weekend in butler clermont Hamilton and warren counties. And you can't breathe any easierr across the river cause warnings are also out for Boone Campbell and Kenton counties. Kevin will show us how bad it'll be in his full forecast. [**06:09:47 PM**] V: if you want to try floating away from the SMOG note that safe boating week begins tomorrow. Mayor mallory today invited us aboard the Cincinnati fire department's river operations rescue boat. It responds to all kinds of emergencies from stranded boats to vessels on fire and all too often boaters going overboard. I; Ofc Richard braun we have two gentlemen over here riding their boat skies, and as you can see going by us, there are tree limbs, and trees going by, and when you have a wake, we don't see those. And when they go a little bit too fast, and they come up on this, it's kind of a recipe for disaster. More than 330 organizations across the country will take part in National safe boating week but the key is staying safe all summer long. |

| [**11:16:53 PM**] V: weather if you're a fan of warm temperatures, Cincinnati is going to feel like heaven. After seeing temperatures in the mid 80s this afternoon, temperatures this evening will gradually drop from the 70s and end up in the upper 60s by Sunday morning. The majority of the area will see mostly clear skies however there is a chance we could see some patchy fog in some of the valleys. Sunday will look a lot like Saturday with plenty of sunshine and temperatures back in the mid 80s by afternoon. With the heat and a calm wind a SMOG alert has been issued for the tristate. That means the air quality won't be the greatest. For those of you with asthma/respirat ory problems, you know to limit your outdoor activities. For the rest of us, we're asked to conserve energy during the prime time heating hours. Mow your grass and fill up your car early in the morning or late in the evening to help the air quality. We'll start the work week with some scattered showers. The best chance for rain will come late Monday/early Tuesday. Behind the rain, temperatures drop a bit for Tuesday with highs in the mid 70s. Then it's right back to the heat. Wednesday through Friday we'll have partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies with temperatures rising each day by the time we head into memorial day weekend temperatures will be in the 90s. Enjoy the sunshine! |
